Ashleigh's Boudoir Session

So I finally did it.

I took a piece of my own medicine and booked myself my very own boudoir session. After years of encouraging women to celebrate their bodies, just as they are, it was my turn to do the same.

No, I don't have the rock hard abs that I want. I have a gap in my teeth instead of the newly popular 'thigh gap'. I have flaws just like everyone else.

But it's MY body.

We are all insecure about ourselves. We have flaws that we are embarrassed to have other people see. We spend so much time hiding ourselves that people don't get to see all the other wonderful things about us. Why do we forbid ourselves from loving ourselves because of these flaws?

I have a gap toothed smile, but if I was determined to keep my mouth shut, how could I laugh or have others hear my voice. When really, having my voice heard is more important than that silly little gap between my teeth.

Do you see what I'm trying to tell you here?

The beauty of Boudoir and Glamour sessions is that we get to put away all of our insecurities. Instead of focusing on our flaws, we get to rejoice about the things we LOVE. It reminds us to not put stock into societies impossible view of the human body. It lets us focus on the moment.

What's important is right here, right now.

Right now you have a body that is capable.

Right now you have a mind that can make choices of it's own.

Right now you have passions that you're pursuing whole heartedly.

So how about RIGHT NOW.... let's make this about you?
