Blaine and Karlee - Winter Engagement Session - Part I - Alberta, Canada

Meet Karlee, Blaine and their kitty Leo! These two were such troopers in the cold. Karlee really wanted to get a few engagement photos in the snow, and I was so happy to oblige! However this day was COLD! Not just temperature wise - but the wind blew right through you. We made it through with a couple of warm up sessions in the car.

We did a 'part one' engagement session so we could enjoy some winter photos. But I'm excited for a spring mini engagement session as well! I'm noticing this to be a trend with my brides - so please don't be afraid to ask me in the future if this is something you would also like to do!

And just to be clear - YES you should definitely bring your favourite kitty to your engagement session! DO. IT.

So, how did he propose?

In Karlee's words:

Blaine and I were on a holiday to Disney World in Florida with my family. It was the last night of our holiday and we were in at the Magic Kingdom enjoying the rides and waiting for the firework and light show to begin at the castle.

They started, and I was watching, fascinated by the beautiful display before me. Blaine gently turned to face me. As the castle lit up behind us, he took my hands and asked if I would marry him. While the fireworks continued to dance around us - I said yes! It was so magical!
