When Jen and Miles first told me that they were getting married in Big Valley at the remains of the old Roundhouse - I was. Freaking. Stoked.
This was a beautiful new ceremony location for me, and I was excited as all the possibilities started forming in my mind.
After an early lunch with the camera crew to go over the game plan, we headed to the hotel to get some getting ready shots. It was so nice to see everyone relaxing and taking in the moment. After saying hi to everyone, I found a corner and started taking some detail shots.

Jen made an absolutely stunning bride.

I can't get over these sweet faces as the Jen's bridesmaids saw her for the first time.

After everyone got ready, I stole Miles and Jen away so they could share a first look.

After the first look, we hopped in the truck and thundered down to Big Valley. We were so dang excited! And can you blame us?! Look at this place!

Miles walked into the 'Hockey Night in Canada' theme song! It was the best thing since poutine!

The best part about this place is that we didn't have to go anywhere for formal portraits! Not having to travel anywhere meant that these two got so many more photos! I wish I could share them all with you, but that would be cray-zee! So here's a few of my absolute favourites!

FRIENDS! SERIOUSLY! THESE TWO!

I don't even know what happened here. But I'm sharing it anyways bahaha

After the formals were finished, we headed back to Stettler for the reception!

So, instead of the traditional glass clinking to get the newlyweds to kiss, you had to take a tequila shot off of the salt block! How have we not seen this before?

At one point, there was upwards of 7 tequila shots done by guests back to back. The crowd had to count down with Jen and Miles to make sure all smooches were accounted for ;)

There were also several touching moments throughout the speeches where I had to keep my tear ducts in check <3

A monsoon hit Stettler this same night, and moments before it hit, I stole these two away for a few more portraits!

How great is this? Instead of doing a bouquet toss, they held a little dance to see who had been married the longest. Miles' grandparents won, and Grandma got the bouquet <3
